But for us at ME&B, our physical stores aren’t just about selling clothes, they’re about community, connection, and creating meaningful, joyful brand experiences that live beyond the screen.

Community has always been central to ME&B. It’s what keeps us consistent and what keeps us inspired. We’ve grown a loyal and vibrant customer base that doesn’t just shop with us - they engage, offer feedback, bring their dogs, and often become part of the extended ME&B family. Over the years, some customers have become so regular that our incredible store staff know them all by name. These in-person relationships are priceless, and they’re something digital platforms simply can’t replicate.

There’s also the tactile magic. Thanks to Betina’s deep expertise in retail and her unrelenting commitment to quality, our fabric choices are considered down to the finest detail. When someone steps into our store, they’re not just looking - they’re touching, feeling, experiencing. That moment of discovery is powerful, and often the key to helping someone fall in love with a garment. It's why our store spaces are designed so intentionally.

We collaborated closely with Roxanne from Arrange Studio to make sure our physical environments reflect what our clothing stands for—brightness, joy, and warmth. Whether you're in our Cape Town CBD space or our Woodstock store at The Palms (which also gives you a rare peek into our slightly chaotic but creative behind-the-scenes HQ), each location is designed to invite connection and inspire curiosity.

Our in-store teams are more than retail staff - they’re brand storytellers. They know our collections inside out, offer styling and care advice, and are often the first to hear what our customers are loving - or what they’re asking for more of. That real-time feedback loop is invaluable. It has allowed us to test limited runs as in-store exclusives, gather insights before scaling production, and make better decisions that reflect what our community actually wants.

We’ll always be proud of the digital experience we’ve built—but there’s something irreplaceable about the physical presence. It’s where the ME&B brand comes alive, where connections deepen, and where customers leave with more than a purchase—they leave with a feeling.
